Bryan Rollofson

English Mentor

I grew up in Sacramento, California. After high school, I moved to Los Angeles, where I received my BA and MA in English; I moved back up to Northern California in 2018. I am always reading, and I encourage my students to do the same. I believe a few well-written words can change the world. I also enjoy discovering new music and spending time with my nieces and nephews.

Before Quest Forward Academy

Before joining Quest Forward Academy, I spent several years in the Bay Area working with middle and high school students and supporting them in the college admissions process. I also have a good deal of experience working in education administration at the university level. All the while, I have been writing stories, poems, plays, and papers about a wide range of topics and ideas. If you have questions about writing, ask me!

Why I chose to work here

I’m looking forward to joining an academic environment that prioritizes student learning and preparation for the waiting world. It’s important that we recognize the immense responsibility we have to our students to help them cultivate an appreciation for learning that looks rather different from what they might be used to.
